Is it possible for the user to change how many addresses are listed in the IP Address view?  Flipping through the pages slows me down.

Since we don't know how many custom fields people might add, we put the page size at a conservative 100. There is a way to change the number of items that appear in the right-side of the Subnets and IP address management page.

open c:\inetpub\solarwinds\orion\ipam\subnets.aspx

Search for
    pageSize="100"
Replace with
    pageSize="256"

Note: There are two such entries, change them both.

This will be reverted after running Orion's configuration wizard + website, or when applying a service pack, but it's easily redone. If you find the performance not where you want it, you may need to try a few different values.

Thanks Peter.  I was wondering the same thing and Andrew and was about to post.  Your workaround works great.

It was terrible when you would be on page 5, make a change, and it shoots you back to page one.  Now all my IPs in the range are listed on one page!

Yeah, the page takes a few extra seconds to load, but the beniefit is well worth it.

Thanks!

Thanks Peter.  This workaround is an improvement but can the panel be resized to show more than 13 addresses in the view?

Can  you explain further what is happening?  Only 13 addresses are showing at a time?

This is great - can we get this put into some preference settings for IPAM?  Perhaps along with settings to adjust the thresholds for whats Red/Yellow/Green for % of free IPs left?

Thanks!

Peter,

Here is a snapshot of the Network View.  I miscounted.  Only 12 networks are shown at a time in the panel.  I would like to see the capability to configure both the left and right panels as to the number of rows/networks displayed in the panel view.
