We have ipMonitor v9 (build 1236) running.  It monitors a number of ADSL routers via Ping.

It would be great if we could get SNMP information from the routers to monitor the status of VPN connections run by the router (eg a Cisco 857).

Has anyone achieved this?

Thanks,

Chris.

If you can determine the Cisco MIBs for the status information you want, you can use the Custom SNMP Wizard to add a monitor for these statistics.

The Problem is that te OID of one VPN Tuinnel is not static. Everytime you restart the VPN Tunnel the OID is changing.

There is another OID with a list of all VPN Tunnel IDs. With this list i can generate the OID i need to check the VPN Status, but in ipmonitor there is no way to do this.
