Is there any documentation explaining the area graphs that NTM uses - the graph areas don't seem to match the bytes and packet counts listed?? Cheers

PS - I am using NTM with 2 HP 5406zl and monitoring sFlow data, plus a Cisco router. Getting excellent results, if I could only interpret the area graphs properly...

Thanx Andy - that helps. It is NOT cumulative so I just have to do a quick calc to get any individual area's rates. Cheers

Hi Bjamieso,

They are hard to interpret at first glance. The attached sample shows the top 5 endpoints and their data transfer over time. The top one (10.199.254.6) rate of about 500 MB over the 1 minute periods, with some smaller points at the end of the chart. If you multiply the ~500 MB/Min rate by the 15 mins you get close to the data for the entire period 7MB listed in the table.

Andy

True - we show data transfered, not rate.
