I am trying to get all our modules up to the latest version and have noticed that for VoIP monitor 2.1 the Admin Guide states that SQL 2005 or 2008 only as the supported databases.

Will VoIP monitor work with SQL 2000 on a Orion NPM 9.1 SP5 install? We are working on migrating as required in order to get to Orion NPM 9.5 but this may take some time and I wanted to get as much updated as possible.

Thanks,

I had MAJOR issues with the 2.1 install. I will be following up with SW Support to figure out what caused the issue but the error that was presenting itself was.

"Database configuration failed: Error while executing script - There is already and object named 'PK_VoiceCCMPhoneStats' in the database. Count not create constraint. See previous errors."

Took a database rebuild and a number of repairs to restore services back to original state.

Hmmm...I had accidently installed VoIP Monitor 2.1 but I just uninstalled it because we have a SQL 2000 database so I assumed it wouldn't work. I had looked back through the documentation and it looks like 2.0 service pack 3 was the last version to officially support SQL 2000. I meant to install THAT version but you know how it goes when you get distracted.

I notice one of the staff members replied that SQL 2000 should work so now I don't know what to do at this point. My uninstall didn't completely uninstall 2.1. The service is still on the server and I have a link to VoIP Monitor in the upper left corner on the Orion home page.

I am running 2.1 on SQL 2000 and have had no problems thus far. Install took FOREVER to go through configuration wizard (see previous post link). My suggestion would be to install it again and make sure all services are up and running again. Things get get a little wierd with installin and reinstalling so hopefully an SW tech can answer further.

Thanks, Jason. Info on what IS working as opposed to what SHOULD work is always a GREAT thing to have! :-)
