I'm running NTA 3.1. Been collecting netflow data for several weeks no problems...
hundreds of interfaces.

When I query on a flow-export monitored interface details for Last X hours.. fine.
When I query on a flow-export monitored interface details for X days.. fine.
But, when I query on Absolute Time periods (within my 7 day data collection),
I get hourly results (in 2 hour increments) one and two days before the current day, but three days out defaults to 24 hour periods.:
I get a message:  Chosen time period will be adjusted according to data storage
granularity' in each case when running before the current day, and within the 7 day
storage.  Why 3+ days out does the reporting default to a 24 hour period for
interface stats ?

My Global Settings are:
Keep uncompressed data for 15 minutes
Keep compressed data for 7 days
Default resource time period is Last 15 minutes
Auto add Netflow sources is Disabled
Retain unmonitored Ports Data is Disabled.

Juan,

The following Knowledge Base article should answer your question:

I am seeing the following error when I try to set the absolute time period for Orion NTA views in the Orion Web Console:
Chosen time period will be adjusted according to data storage granularity

Thanks,

Andrew
