We are in thr process of implementing a new application suite (most of it home grown) where one of the central componenets is BEA Weblogic.

Does anyone know of a way within APM to monitor the different components of the Java application (queues, available Java Memory, etc)

I am unfortunately a system administrator, and not a java developer, so I am not entirely sure what I need to monitor, and our java developers don't know much about system administration or Solarwinds.  If it makes a difference, the application servers running weblogic are Solaris 10 servers.

All help appreciated.

You can't do this with APM 2.5, but I think you can do what you want with the Beta for APM 3.0.  You can sign up here:

Any chance you know what the anticipated release date for APM 3.0 would be?

I am not allowed to tell you, but if you look historically, the time between Beta and GA is not very long.

Is the Weblogic monitor still scheduled for a future release?

I don't see it in APM 3.0

Paul

It's still planned, but it's not in 3.0 or 3.1.
