Feature Request: Ability to Modify Device Type or Define Views by Custom Property

I'm sure this has been requested over and over again (especially for the ICMP only devices), but to clarify my feature request, I would like to see the ability to specify a particular view for a device based on requirements and not necessarily device type.

e.g. / Cisco 3725 Router  -  I have several of these routers in my environment, where the majority are used as voice gateways, but have some that are just edge routers. I want a view where the edge routers show Netflow charts and different view for the Voice Gateways without netflow charts.

 

Or, it could be just as simple as being able to auto-hide the Netflow Resources when they are not applicable.

Custom templates by device type is a good feature idea.  We've heard it before and it's something we'll consider for the future.
