In spite of all my research efforts, I just can't get a decent handle on Types of Service. What do the different acronyms stand for? What device is actually assigning these types to the traffic and what rule sets is it using to do so? I would love to be able to align these types of service with the Classes of Service we have established on our MPLS network.

As it currently is, this element of NTA is totally useless to me.

Do you have your own MPLS network or are you using a service provider? If it's an SP, who owns the CE router?

Network is AT&T, all Cisco routers provided and managed by them.....we actually get our Netflow data from our Riverbed units, but never could understand if that is where the TOS gets assigned or if it is coming from the router.

Since we established the COS, I'm pretty sureI could get the rule sets used from AT&T
