I've not yet figured out how to delete all NTA data out of my netperfmon db (ticket is open and pending) and my db is currently just under 100 GB (counting the sub db's that NTA creates).  Just concerned if I should expect the install to have to run over night?

It has been my experience that the install goes quickly, under 1/2 hour. It does depend on having your ducks in order before hand and how many operations you configure. Take a look at the paper here on moving to IP SLA from VoIP. It still applies even if it is a fresh IP SLAM installation. Also a paper on IP SLA technology here. Yes - shamless self promotion!

Thanks.  Good documents.  I have IP SLA installed now.  No troubles, at all.  Starting to play now and I must say, I am impressed.  Adding new 'operations' is a bit too "hands-on" intensive for items already configured on my SLA routers but that is a small thing.

I was very nervous about the auto configuration this product does to SLA routers.  However, I am so impressed with IP SLA's auto configuration, when adding new operations, that I am probably going to wipe out that part of the config and have Orion add operations, en mass.  That will get me the same operation numbers across the board and take some of the hands-on pain out of it.

Thanks again.  So far, this looks like a pretty cool product.
