Hello,

I've added a custom html box to my NPM website, but I am try to get this URL added, but don't know how to:

<div style="width:260px"><script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/syndication/widgets/serviceboard/embeddable/serviceboard-iframe-stretchy.js"></script></div>

this is from

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/widgets/?CMP=widget-banner&banner=home-service

Is this possible?  Is there some code I need to added either side of the URL I can work with?

So you added the custom HTML resource to a page when you went to that page, did you then click edit on that resource and insert the code?  If so, what are you seeing?

I sure did, but it shows up blank, then I keep getting a pop up asking for me to open or save the js java file.  I'm sure it should embed this.  Do I just need to add the URL?

I tried this on my Orion installation. It loaded fine in Firefox and Google Chrome, but failed to load in IE6 and IE8. I didn't get the popup about saving the js file - it just didn't fill in the Tube status widget.

What browser(s) have you tried?

Hi whiteford--

Very likely, your problem is due to how IE doesn't work with JavaScript.  Check out this post:

http://thwack.com/forums/p/20753/85992.

The workaround is for you to click the Resource Title of your custom HTML box. This launches a separate window that will contain your information.

Development knows about the problem but if you need it fixed quickly, open a support ticket here. In order to receive technical support, you will need to be current on your SolarWinds maintenance. Complete the on-line form. You will not be able to upload Orion diagnostics, but you will receive an email back that allows you to upload diagnostics.

HTH,

M
