I want to monitor that a certain file is no more than 10 minutes old.  I tried to use the built-in

file age component within an app monitor then assigned to a host.  The File Age component monitor

uses hours as opposed to minutes or seconds.  Is there a way I can clone and this component

monitor so that it uses minutes instead of hours as its unit of measurement?

Hello,
you can convert 10 minutes into hours and set thresholds appropriately. If you need to check that file is no more than 10 minutes old, you can set warning or critical threshold for statistics to "greater than 0.16". It's 9.6 minutes but as polls are in at least one minute interval this should be sufficient.

Thank-you.  So generally components are not modifiable/clonable?  The exception would be you can write your own scripts for execution on Windows or Linux?

You can clone components from Admin->APM Settings->Manage Assigned Application Monitors->Manage Assigned Component Monitors. Manage Assigned Component Monitors link is in upper right corner of the page. There you can select specific components and using "Copy to..." button you can copy them to another application or to another node directly.
