Anyone implemented a solution to have several views being rotated on a screen?

Something like a screen saver, that rotates view every 15 seconds. This way we could display different graphs from Orion plus information from other applications on the same screen.

I believe this is not too difficult to implement, but I thought I ask in case someone already done something similar.
Please let me know.

We are using a Crestron C2N-DVP4DI for this purpose and displaying it on a 60inch plasma. You can do "Jeopardy" like screen splitting between the difference sources or do cool transition effects between different interface sources.

The only drawback is you need either multiple computers or multiple video cards. We are using a Quad Video card from ATI in one computer for this purpose.

Thanks aLTeReGo, thats great info..

one question, how do you cycle through views?

IE: With the C2N-DVP4DI, you can display four views/inputs on the one screen, but is it possible to have the 4 views rotated ever 15 secs?
Thanks

Yes, You define the time interval between screen rotations as well as the screen transitions (fade/swipe/pixelate etc)

We use..

http://www.e-motional.com/Autowebview.htm

Setting up pages and times and stuff for rotation.. its nice enough for the money.

Had fun getting it to pass specific user/password between Orion Screens though.. ended up setting up a web rotate user and passed same creds to all pages.

The Crestron is nice if you have the budget.. but I wanted to have display at many location

Thanks for the info. What is the advantage of  a Crestron type setup compared to an autowebview setup?

Just trying to get my head around it all

Thanks

Take a look at my post for "Flipping Maps" with an asp page. Do a search in thwack for "Web Gui screen Rotation" and the code is there along with the explaination. Hope this helps.
