In 8.1, run System Manager, Click New (add a Node).
In the Add Node or Interface to Monitor box,
put in any ip address with the third octet being 100 - i.e 192.168.100.34
Click next...
And Orion searches for the IP address, but TRUNCATES the third octet to 10 i.e. 192.168.10.34
Anyone replicate this?

This is something dev is working to fix. There is also a workaround for this issue. Please add the device through it’s hostname, then, once added, go into the devices Node Details and change the IP Address to read correctly.

Mithrihall-
Please elaborate if you are seeing other issues.
If you try to add the node via using a hostname using any SNMP version, the node manager crashes and exits immediately. If you try to add the ip address or the hostname as an ICMP node, it works fine.
For now, the only way to add devices that has a .100 decimal is to add them as an ICMP node first, then stop the solarwinds polling engine and edit the nodes table directly from the sql manager. You need to change ICMP to whatever SNMP version you would like to use and also update the community strings accordingly. After you start the polling engine, view node details and choose list resources to proceed with the interface configuration of the node.
It seems like this issue is fixed with 8.1 HotFix 3. However, I wasn't able to download it from the FTP address given (access denied for anonymous). Hopefully, this post will save some time for the others.
__Update__
Do not use an FTP manager to download the hotfix file, but instead use a web browser.
