We are currently using Orion 8.1 NPM SLE2000 with SQL2005.

We view the top 10 highest response times of interfaces on Orion Web Console of our 2000 interface network.

It shows up in  descending order as:

Interface A - 800 ms

Interface B - 550 ms

Interface C - 150 ms

..

Then,

Interface X - No response

Interface Y - No response

There are hundreds of no response lines and it is not easy to control the whole view because of these "no response" lines.

We like to get rid of these "no response" lines. Because, we know that if there is no response, interface or line is down. It is garbage for us.

Can you please help us to solve this problem ?

Thank you.

You could filter them out, but that will lead to bigger problems for you... as in missed outages...

The best advice I can provide on this subject is to administratively shutdown unused interfaces

here is an example filter, but you will need to use interface variables like    OperStatus=1

What I did was create a custom property for each interface I wanted to report on the web console (i.e serial, pvc gigabit etc). Then use the filter on the web to show just those interfaces.
