We are pleased to announce the general availability of NTA 2.2.
We have a number of new features, and we have fixed a number of customer issues. Please examine the Release Notes to see what was fixed.
NOTE: NTA 2.2 will only work with Orion 8.5.
Support for Type of Service
Users can now examine traffic based on the Type of Service (ToS) bit in the NetFlow v5 packet. Users can specify custom names for each ToS/DiffServe value.
Area charts have been added as an option
Users can now see traffic distribution over time. These graphs look more like the Toolset’s NetFlow Realtime.
Pie charts graphics have been updated
Same data, but we’ve dialed up the slickness factor to 11.
Users now have the option to have Top XX resources based on percentages of Top 100 items, regardless of how many resources are displayed
The percentages we show will not more accurately reflect what customers want to see.
Users can now globally exclude specific protocols
If a customer doesn’t care about a specific protocol, NTA can be set to globally ignore all flows using that protocol.
Users can now define applications separately for UDP, TCP, and other protocols
Customers can now specify multiple applications on the same port, each with a different protocol.
