Hi, I'm running SolarWinds Switch Port Mapper v7.1.94 and I'm trying to use it to interrogate a Nortel Switched Firewall (NSF) arp table. Nortel don't think it will work using snmp v2 or above, but state snmpv1 should work. However I don't know how to get the Switch Port Mapper program to use snmp v1 only.
I'm trying to map the ports on our company edge switches. However all the servers hanging of these switches are in secure zones off the NSF, hence Port Mapper needs to pull IP details from the NSF arp table. I can see it gets the IP's of the devices that make up the NSF cluster, but nothing from the arp table.
I was thinking of upgrading the Switch Port Mapper to the latest version. Do I need to purchase the Engineers's Toolset again, or can I simply upgrade the Port Mapper? I have looked at the main site, but can't seem to work that bit out!
I'll be grateful for any help.
Many thanks

Go to Settings and select SNMP tab. Check the box for "Disable SNMP v2 packets (Disables Get Bulk Requests)".

If you have a valid maintenance agreement, you can download the latest version of the Toolset (9.1) from the customer portal:
