If anyone is interested in ipMonitor it is GREAT! We have implemented it across our entire enterprise. We use it to monitor status on everything from services to routers. We have a little over 800 monitors currently running and the server it is running on does not need to be dedicated. When we do maintenance we use ipMonitor to see if everything is back up without the need to connect to every machine and check manually.

It has really good account management and setting monitors up is a cinch. If your shop is looking for a monitoring tool that will watch everything and notify when it is down you NEED this product. I know people who spend upwards of $100 per server monthly to have a third party do what ipMonitor does. You can be alerted almost any way you desire. We use email, but you could even receive an SMS text on almost any cell phone.

Not to mention, it would be possible for consultants to turn ipMonitor into a line of business. Sell monitoring services to your customers.
