I scanned a subnet with two routers running HSRP and the resulting map shows 3 routers present. Any way to configure LAN Surveyor to properly indicate that there or only two physical routers or other workarounds for this issue? Thanks.
Make sure that the Continuous Scan is selected. This could rectify the issue over multiple passes.
It may be that the redundancy architecture of the router does not allow LANsurveyor to determine that the multiple IP addresses are part of the same physical node. Unfortunately, we do not have an HSRP device in our lab to replicate the issue.
