    TCP Port Monitor customisation

Is there a way to modify the list of ports that TCP Port Monitor can check. I have some web servers sitting on ports other than 80 that I would like test

    Hi darryld,

Officially there is no way to modify the list of ports but you can take a look at the following URL that might help:

    Seems I answered too soon.

Followed the link and then followed the instructions but the file is not present on my PC. I am evaluating LS v10 were the instructions for an older version?

     Hi Darryld

This file should still be there even with the evaluation 10.2 version of LS.  Can you check and confirm that this directory (on Windows XP):

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SolarWinds\SolarWinds LANsurveyor

is present?  This directory and some of the files in it are hidden files so you will need to have the option to view hidden or system files and folders turned on in Windows Explorer.  To do this you can go to Tools->Folder Options->View (in Windows Explorer) and select "Show hidden files and folders".
