    Lansurveyor responder license

I downloaded and installed the LANsurveyor which is looking very awesome for my specific application. I'm trying it out on a few client machines and noticed that the responder says it has 5 licenses. So I deployed it to one of my test machines, but I'm not sure how to activate the license so that I can see the details for the client. I did a search on the knowledge base, but wasn't able to find anything.

     Hi spcmnspf

There is no need to activate the Responder client licenses.  The following steps will allow you to see all the information collected by the Responder client.

    1. Do a new discovery with  "LANsurveyor Responders" checked on the New Map dialog.  Make sure that the discovery finds the machine where you deployed the Responder client.
    2. When the discovery is finished, right click on the machine with the Responder client and select Get Info.
    3. On the left hand side you will see a tree structure with information for this machine.  The top section (LANsurveyor Responder) contains all the data received from the Responder client.

You can find more information about the Responder Clients here:http://www.neon.com/Tutorials/index.html?neonresponders.htm

You can also collect the Responder data in a database repository.  More information on this is available here:http://www.neon.com/Tutorials/index.html?repository.htm

Let me know if you have any more questions.
