The 'Certified' badge is triggered from the information provided to the testing center when you sat the exam.

I searched through the list and did not see klomper2007 listed, but did see something very similar.  I also did not see your thwack email address in the list.  Did you by chance use a different email address when you registered for the exam?  If so, you can post it here, or PM me the info, and we can update your profile to include the badge.

The training certificate from Corona was an accreditation program developed and run by Corona.  It is not the same as the SolarWinds Certified Professional, which is an industry standard certification focused on network management with Orion, and will be available wolrdwide at any Prometric testing facility.

All of our training partners are aware of the upcoming release of the SCP program and are fully supporting the launch.

Is there any dates yet on when it will be available and study materials available??   I have been working with Solarwinds for over 2 years now but I am not a network engineer, my position is more of monitoring engineer and although I have a very basic understanding of networking I come form a systems background.  Is this test going ot be out of my realm of expertise?

No dates I can share, but I can tell you it won't be too much longer.

After the program officially launches, there will be a page on our site dedicated to certificaiton.  This will be your source for the certification knowledge requirements, determining where your gaps may be, and some study materials to assist in preparing.

That said, the exam is designed to test for real world experience, so don't assume stuying alone will be enough to pass.

Corona Technical Services provides a certificate of course completion for each of our courses.  That certificate is more of an attendance and training record--it is not intended to be a Certification Program.

Corona's Instructors took the Charter SCP test and passed along with others in this forum.  Many of Corona's prior students participated in the Charter SCP testing process and passed as well.

As Thomas and others have mentioned, the SCP test covers network management as a profession as well as the utilization of the SolarWinds products to manage networks.

We'll be sending out voucher codes to individuals who participated in the beta.  Look for them in the next day or two.

The SCP exam was recently launched offering a 50$ of on the exam with a promo code/voucher.

When I received my voucher, I was offered a 33% off on the exam.

If I'll be taking the exam with a 33% off, I'll be paying 100.50 $ and it is way too higher than the recent promo which is 50$.

Don't we get a lot more higher discount as beta takers? I mean, eventhough we failed, can we be different than the regular promo. It seems that it is a lot cheaper to take the exam using the new promo which is 50$ off.

Just a question.

Thanks,

Jed

Jed,

I may be incorrect, but I believe the regular cost for the exam is $150.  $50 off would make the exam $100.  It's really only a difference of 50 cents.

Yes however, i wish it could have been a lot more cheaper if possible than the new takers.

There is now an exam prep doc which has practice questions sorted by exam section.  You can check it out here: http://thwack.com/media/p/71763.aspx

You should have this up on the page along with the other SCP stuff.

Everyone else may not dig so hard.

What do you mean, "What is the coverage for this exam?"?

You can view the certification details at http://www.solarwinds.com/certification/network_certification.aspx
