Its not shamefull to post a listing of known bugs in your products. Cisco has been posting known bug lists on every IOS for years. It shows a certain product maturity level.
I often wait for service pack 1 to come out before upgrading to any new Orion version simply because I don't know what problems I might have using the newer code.
I'm sure your support staff could post a reasonably good list of known bugs at the time of release and keep it updated as service pack 1 is formulated.
So far, the forums are the only source of bug notification, but busy professionals don't always have time to read every post.
I agree. A list of known bugs would actually encourage me to upgrade quicker in some instances. The hardest part about the decision to upgrade is not knowing what bugs you can reasonably expect to encounter. A list of known bugs would cut down on duplicate posts to thwack, it would save valuable time for busy professionals (as joesim123 wrote above), and in my opinion would create a good documentation history that both Solarwinds and their customers would benefit from.
We do list a lot of known issues in our release notes...
