    Real-time Netflow Analyzer

    Hi,

I need to get some advices from you guys who already installed and configured the new release free real-time network analyzer.  I downloaded it today, installed but stopped at the configuration part.  It is because I already have Orion 5.2 and the added-in netflow traffice analysis installed and configured on the server and router.  It is currently up and running fine.  The question is do I need to re-configure netflow (or SNMP on router) again for the new free tool to work?  Is there any manual guide on how to setup and use this tool?  Thanks

    Re: Real-time Netflow Analyzer

    Hi don123,

The Real-time NetFlow tool is meant to be a desktop tool. You can have NetFlow sent to 2 collectors so all you need to do to use the free tool is add your desktop IP address to the NetFlow exporters (try the included NetFlow Configurator). Orion is at now ver 9.0 and NTA is at 3.0.  Try them out - pretty cool stuff.
