Hi,

I am not able start APM 2.0 POC due to following issue. 1)       We fear due to utilization of CPU/Memory of server.2)       Bandwidth utilization of WAN link. Quarry: 1)       Is APM support any Client to be install on Server to reduced WAN Traffic.2)       How much memory/CPU takes one SNMP poll.3)       I am using 90% of Linux Cent OS 4.04)       We are having 4 POP’s at different location hosted more than 1000 servers.  Also find WAN diagram for further analyzing.

 1.  If you're worried about the CPU/Memory hit on your production server, then try an eval copy of NPM and an eval copy of APM

2.  Bandwidth utilization is not high, but it will depend on what you're polling.  Without any testing on your side, there is no way for us to estimate the impact.

You can purchase an APM addiitonal poller (contact sales for details) that will sit on the other side of the WAN and do its polling locally

I'm not sure we have the per/poll stats for memory.  The CPU % will depend on your hardware.  Trying one SNMP poll on a test server would give you an accurate idea.

Riyaz, I would strongly recommend that you contact a Sales Engineer in our Singapore office.  The questions you are asking are really too detailed to be answered efficiently here on Thwack.  We want to help you, and we'll do what we can, but it would be much quicker on the phone with someone in a closer tie zone.
