Guys/gals

there are a ton of posts about this but unfortunately no one has actually posted exactly how to remove NTA as the uninstall sucks!

I was made to uninstall NTA 3.1SP2 by support to try and work out why it will not install, but the uninstall does not work.  it only half uninstalls.

I need a step by step procedure to uninstall NTA as support have not been very responsive today, i expect they are busy as the technician i was working with is very good.

I need to know

1. EXACTLY what tables make up Netflow, and can i just DELETE them from the database?

2. how to remove Netflow module from the main website

3. do i need to do anything in the registry

when i reinstall 3.1sp2, should it now install correctly?

disaster!!!  i really want this software up and running.  had an SLX for a week now and been unable to use it....

cheers

dan

You also need to delete netflow triggers on table [Nodes] and [Interfaces], otherwise you could have exception when you try to delete node or interface.

Some SQL views, stored procedures are also created by the NTA module. This could create issues while upgrading Orion in future release.
