    Use loopback address only?

    I'm kicking the tires on this and the 1st thing I noticed is that LS will display an a separate icon for a router interface for the same device.  I have a MSFC with about 12 interfaces and I have 12 different icons for the same thing.  Is it possible for LS to be told to use the loopback interface only?

    Hi Bryan, currently there is no way to configure LANsurveyor to use a single, loopback address.   I've consulted with dev and they've offered the following: 

    By your description, each interface must have its own IP address but operating independently (that is, each IP address doesn't know about the other IP addresses even though they are on the same physical device).  We'd need a LANsurveyor Log.txt file to be sure but if the situation is as described and confirm there isn't a good way to know these 12 addresses are really one device.

    I would suggest opening a support ticket and attaching log file requested if you'd like us to explore this further.
