    Which ARP table?

    Hi all,

I am "Lansurveying" a LAN which is connected to two routers (with different timeout ARP table). When LanSurveyor try to map port to IP address, on which ARP table will the mapping based?

    Best regards,

    Arcastor

I've consulted with dev and confirmed the following:

LANsurveyor uses *all* available ARP caches. Sometimes, a node will be single-link, multi-homed (one Ethernet address with multiple IP addresses) so LANsurveyor will need to look at all available ARP caches in order to get the mappings for the multiple IP addresses
