Callmanager - no data collected yet

    Hallo

Ich habe in dem VoIP Monitor zwei Callmanager hinzugefügt. Version 4.1 und 6.1

Bei beiden sehe ich nicht die Anzahl der registrierten und nicht registrierten Phones usw.

Erhalte die Meldung no data collected yet.

Im Event Viewer erhalte ich die Meldung:

Error: "Target does not support CISCO-CCM-MIB ........

Ich dachte bei Cisco Callmanager sollte das funktionieren.

    Kann mir hier jemand weiterhelfen.

Re: Callmanager - no data collected yet

I have downloaded the voip Modul (Testversion) yesterday. So i think this is with SP.

    I have installed

    SolarWinds-Orion-VoIPMon-v2.0-Evaluation.exe

    VoIP-2.0-Update.exe

This also could mean that the service is unable to connect to the db. Run the config. wizard to sync. the connections. If that does not help then this might be an IOS issue, since you are using version CM 4.1 maybe? I’m not aware of any issues with collecting CallManager (CM) SNMP stats from CallManager version 5.1 devices. I recommend checking to see if the 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.156.1.2.1 (CISCO-CCM-MIB:ccmPhoneTable) MIB is supported on the device. You can download our Engineer’s Toolset Evaluation and use the MIB Browser to verify MIB support.

Re: Callmanager - no data collected yet

I have used the Configuration Wizard and repair the database and all services. But without any results

I have used the MIB Browser and checked two callmanager. One Version 4.1 and a another Version 6.1

    I see the CISCO-CCM-MIB

    OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.156.1.2.1

    Type SEQUENCE

    Units

    Access not-available

    Status mandatory

The Access - not-available - can this be a problem?

Yes, it appears to be. What community string are you using? Did you have to manually set this up?

It looks like the device does not support that MIB. Try this tool to determine if the Cisco IOS release for your VoIP device supports IP SLA operations -

     http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/CFN/jsp/index.jsp

click Search by Feature, and then select IP SLAs - UDP Based VoIP Operation

Re: Callmanager - no data collected yet

We speak about a Callmanager. A Callmanager haven´t any IOS. The Callmanager Version 4.1 have a Windows OS and the 6.1 a Linux OS.

In the Documentaion from Orion stand that Cisco Callmanager are supported, and i must see the Phones Data.

Please follow the link above to at least let us know which device you are using for the CCM.  As these will have an IOS version this is Cisco's "operating system"  I believe there is confusion on what we are looking for here.  We need to gather information off of the Cisco call manger device and through the use of MIBs that will poll for the VoIP information from Orion.

Re: Callmanager - no data collected yet

Yes i think too there is confusion on what we are looking for.

Cisco Routers, Switches and so on have a IOS. I know the Feature Navigator. But i will read information with SNMP from a Callmanager. Not Callmanager Express. A Callmanager haven´t anything to do with a ios. So i see nothing about Callmanager in the Feature Navigater from Cisco.

Furthermore this Callmanager Informations haven´t anything do to with IP SLA. IP SLA is function on my testsystem.

I will see the registered, unregistered phones / gateways .... This is not function

I'm sorry about the confusion. The device is stating the MIB is not available in that device.

Re: Callmanager - no data collected yet

I ran into this with Call Manger 6.1.1 servers. Here is how I enabled the MIB functionality:

Our Cisco Call Manager version is actually 6.1.1, but I think the issue applies to earlier versions. To fix the issue:

      - Start the CCM web interface and logon with an administrative account

      - In the Navigation box in the top left select "Cisco Unified Serviceability" and click on the Go button

      - From the Tools drop-down, select "Service Activation"

      - Select one of your Call Manager servers from the list

      - Scroll down the service list to the Performance and Monitoring Services section

      - Enable the Cisco CallManager SNMP Service

      - Save the change

      - Repeat for all other Call Manager servers
