Running NetFlow Traffic Analyer Version 3.0. Noticed in WebPage that Receiver Status is down.
Is this refering to the service "SolarWinds NetFlow Service"? Or is receiver referring to something else. The SolarWinds NetFlow Service is running, not sure how to enable Receiver...
Thanks!
Try running through the Configuration Wizard to clear this up. Select the services box....
Hi Scorpio,
Does the Traffic Analysis Event show an error? This can give you the best place to look. Common causes are stuck process or a lost connection to the database. Support can walk you through the fix.
Andy
Thanks! Seem like the service was running and just that the webpage did not update. Webpage status is now correct.
i am experiencing the same issue. kept on restarting SQL server in order to start the graph netflow traffic.
can i get a walkthrough to fix this? i am not an expert on servers..
If you have already tried to run the Configuration Wizard to clear this up by selecting the services with little improvement then it would be best if you open a case. There are a few more things that support can look into that might cause this.
hi,
i opened a case with solarwinds support and got the steps to fix this issue. just want to know if this will affect other services or historical databases?
3) Run a repair on Netflow. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> and find SolarWinds Netflow on the list. Click on Change/Remove and select Repair when prompted. Run through that, and then run through the configuration wizard again.
What were the other options? lol
I have done everything else suggested above, except I can not find the entry in the Control Panel :(
I believe that he meant Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs (In Vista it is called "Programs and Features")
Thanks,
