    Nortel IPFIX support

I am trying to get my 8600 to work with Net Flow. The options on my Passport list preipfixv5 as an option. I selected this hoping it would work with NTA. I have seen several posts over the past two years discussing this but never anything clear as to if support for this is coming or not. Has anyone gotten NTA to work with Nortel?

    Hi puenther,

We have IPFIX support targeted for a future release. Unfortunately, that is as specific as I can be at this point.

Thanks - at least I can say it is coming in the future now.

    Re: Nortel IPFIX support

We are using a different product for netflow with our Nortel 8600s.  The product shows that IPFIX is coming in as Netflow version 9. Also, IPFIX from the 8600s uses port number 9995, not 9996.

    Hope this helps.

We are another firm that would like to see Nortel (8600 , 55200) support.

    Ditto...8600's and 5530/5520's.
