Hi all. I was trying to configure the Orion MP for SCOM, and i cannot go beyond the web console User Id and password screen, i successfully changed the admin user password, im trying to enter those credentials and the message is... "Could not connect...please ensure your authentication details are correct" ... is something im doing wrong? i have installed Orion on the same Ops Mgr server, could this be the problem?

I don't think installing on the same server is the root of your authentication problem, but that's probably not going to give you optimal performance on either application. Could you post screenshots of where you're seeing the error?
Yep i thought so, but it is the only unusual characteristic on my environment (it is a test lab). The weird thing is that Im able to connect to the web server with the same account that generates the error. Thanks for your reply!

It's hard to troubleshoot this kind of problem on Thwack. I would recommend that you open a Support ticket.
Denny - we're having the same issue. Seems that EOC can talk to NPM just fine, SCOM can't. Systems are on the same subnet without any firewalls/ACL's/restrictions between them. Support just says, must be a firewall problem...
Dev looked at your post. They said they would need diagnostics to move forward.
We also need to see the files in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\SolarWinds\Orion Management Pack for OpsManager 2007 on the machine where the management pack is installed.

SCOM module doesn't need an extension, but for the Orion NPM extension, just contact Sales@solarwinds.com.
