Dear all,
I'm currently testing Cirrus. I have tried to add two switches HP ProCurve 2524 j4813a.
To connect by SNMP, no problem. To connect by CLI (Telnet/SSH), no problem.But... when I try to download the configuration, it is not possible...
I click to download the configuration and Cirrus stay blocked on the status : " Receiving Data".After ~2 minutes, the line become red without error message and status and I have no configuration.
I have tried with "Device Command Template" set to "Auto Determine", or to "HP Switch" but it isn't working.I see that Cirrus try to enter terminal lenght/width 0 <= not supported by HP ProCurve.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Geolem,
Are you a current Cirrus customer, if so you may wish to enroll in Cirrus 5.0 Beta as it has improved command template functionality and a HP Procurve template that should allow you to work well with your pro-curve devices.
If you are currently trialing then contact your salesperson and see if they can help you with seeing/testing this functionality in the upcoming release.
Telnet should work fine. Can you post your session trace?
1. File > Settings > Session Tracing > Turn on session tracing
2. Attempt download
3. Session trace created here: <install directory>\Configuration Management\Session-Trace
Dear Sham,
Currently I just trial Cirrus because we are really need a solution like that. Our company is just Solarwinds Orion client.
So, if I can, I will contact our salesperson ;)
Thanks :)

Dear Chris,
Joined to this reply, the trace you ask me.I can see that the config is read by Cirrus but why Cirrus don't save the configuration like a Cisco Catalyst 3560 (for example) ?
Which "Device Command Template" should I use ?
Many thanks,
