i'm using now the evaluation version of orion 8.1 version.
i'm fighting to buy this solution to our company, but i have special MIBs
for "Argus" UPS product,but i can see the solarwinds has special type of MIBs
not the standard files, how to convert Argus MIBs to be imported into Orion??
Please i need help
If the MIBs are not already in SW database then you will need to submit the MIBs to Support to be compiled and placed in the MIB database.
Mark is right, but you can use the custom poller simply by adding the OID directly. You don't actually need the MIB to be compiled by us.

The 7.8 release of Orion does not support custom mibs. In order to gain the ability to poll and collect data from specific mibs, you will need to upgrade to something in the 8.x train; preferably 8.1 with the latest hotfixes, as it has been touted as being the most stable.
Version 7.8 with the Wireless Management Pack may or may not correctly recognize all wireless devices out of the box, and I'm not certain if there are any known issues with this particular device. Perhaps someone else knows..?

Time will vary - (depending on the Support case load) Open a ticket and submit the MIBs you need to be added- and you should receive a better ETA on turnaround.
Mark, i did this and the upgrade i got from surpport mib.cfg, the orion mib is still not populated with my soma mibs even after the upgrade?
