About Andy Salo
Unfortunately I can only call myself a "former" network geek, as it's been quite a while since my CCIE (#2323) was active. But I used to love working for IBM Global Services, or ISSC as it was called in those days, consulting for companies big and small, functional and dis-functional, and help them remove static route band-aids while getting their BGP and OSPF routing working correctly. After spending a few years out in the Bay Area during the hey day, I'm now back home to my roots in Austin trying to figure out why I shouldn't buy a Mac for home, why certain SolarWinds competitors are possibly insane, how can I improve my time on the Rubik's cube, and how to avoid busting my butt on a Ripstik.
