We have 13447 elements polled by 3 PEs. Our DB size is 43GB, and our DBAs are kind of complaining...Did you ever switch the node from the other on the SQL cluster? Right after we did that, got the following error and even I escalated the case, Solarwinds still can't get this problem resolved:

"Databse configuration failed: cannot find the object "1" because it doesn't exist or you do have the permissions..."

Looks like we have the same configuration, how many elements do you poll? What's the size of your NetPerMon DB?
