Basic Alerts problem in 8.5

The new Alert Manager (which looks great, by the way), does not show any of my previously configured Basic Alerts, but my Advanced Alerts...

upgrade to 8.5 broke view cirrus configs (correction, custom properties)?
After the marathon that an 8.5 upgrade was, it appears that viewing the configs from cirrus does not work anymore, as described here: http://thwack.com/forums/p/3803/18175.aspx When I click on the view configuration link it gives me a 404 but its pointing to the right location. Anyone know what the problem...

Advanced Alerts : Ignore particualr nodes
I've just started playing around with advanced alerting. I've enabled the out of the box 'High Response Time Monitoring' advanced alert which works fine. In fact too well in that I'm getting lots of alerts from 3 nodes that I know are only being used (abused!?) for testing. I'd...

NetPerMon and Monitored Network Objects in Alerts
I am running Orion Network Performance Monitor v 8.5.1. I have been making some changes to the nodes that I am monitoring, in particular I've been adding and removing some of the previosly monitored interfaces on some of my switches and routers. The server that I am running Orion on recently had...

Alerting when SNMP query fails after 3 or 4 attempts
Hello, We recently had an issue where a SNMP agent on a host machine froze. The Server was up and operated fine, however the space on the D: drive was filling up. While dialled in we noticed the space was down to 800MB - however the Orion Web Page showed 10GB free. When we went into the details of Drive...

SMPP messaging ???
I am setting up SMS alerts with a perl.exe. I have run in to a problem that I do not know how to send environmental variables to the pl file that is relaying my SMS messages. Are the variables known when the alerts are triggered or will they have to be a sql query to be able to give me a more specific...

Cyber-Ark - Set ICMP payload to 32 Bytes
Cyber-Ark For those of you using the Cyber-Ark enterprise password vault appliance, be sure to set your Orion Network Performance Monitor ICMP payload to exactly 32 bytes. Cyber-Ark doesn't allow any protocol traffic in/out except its own, so while SNMP is out a Cyber-Ark will answer up to an ICMP...

Advanced Alert Conditions
I need to trigger a threshold alert on all Serial interfaces in one trgger condition statement. Is there a wildcard character that I can use such as % or * in the condition statement. For instance - "interfacename contains Serial0%". Some way that will alert on all router serial interfaces...
