for me, NPM is doing a great job in sending alerts.. and displaying historical graphs.. that is why NPM has this custom period for investigation purposes.. if you really want to see real-time graphs with customized intervals, try using the SNMP Real-Time Graph tool. But you need to get the specific MIB...

I did notice another glitch, purely cosmetic though, it seems. In the Event Summary module on my main page, it lists "APM Service Stopped", and "APM Service Started" although I'm sure it's referencing the NPM service. This is listed correctly in the Last 25 Events module....

is NPM capable of doing auto-publish? if not, does anyone have any idea how i can automate the process of publishing or exporting? in SNMP real-time graph, auto publish is a built in feature. i wonder if NPM has this capability also..

I think you have to setup a custom poller to monitor the OID's your interested in. Once that it done you can add an item representing the custom poller to you maps. Andrew
