Re: Orion monitoring Mac OS X
I'm having this problem as well: anytime I try to poll volume monitoring from Orion, the snmpd process on my OS X machine spikes up to 100% CPU usage and has to be killed. Has anyone had any luck with this? Compiliing the latest version of net-snmp doesn't seem to help.

Re: Orion monitoring Mac OS X
The workaround for this problem is to run monitoring scripts that act as custom MIBs ... see here for a few. Polling these won't make it freak out.

Re: Orion monitoring Mac OS X
I tried 5.0.9 and the newest version on net-snmp website. The CPU still spikes to 100% no matter what. Anyone have any insight on how to fix this? OS X Server 10.4.9 net-snmp 5.4
