    I had the exact issue occur to me recently. Where I would set multiple different (single basic and advanced alerts with any statements) alerts to catch the issue that I have deemed need to alert me. I had set the actions to email, log to syslog, log to event, and to an alert file. All actions would occur...

    This seems to be an issue that is more common than I originally thought I got mine to email from a reboot of our server after the updates had been applied. I know that there has to be a better answer to this since the updates did not require a reboot, and a typically windows 2003 production server can...
