  • DB Maintenance Settings

    Is there a way to change the DB maintenance settings to run the DB maintenance at different times on different days? For example run DB maintenance at 2am on Tuesday and 9pm on Friday. Is there a XML file or registry setting that can be modified to accomplish this?

  • Advanced Alert Conditions

    I need to trigger a threshold alert on all Serial interfaces in one trgger condition statement. Is there a wildcard character that I can use such as % or * in the condition statement. For instance - "interfacename contains Serial0%". Some way that will alert on all router serial interfaces...

    Yes! ( just discovered the issue and was looking here for a solution) Looked in the db tables: the association between the device type and view id looks ok but doesn't seem to have any effect. Have you logged a call with Solarwinds?

  • Advice for the Nortel Starent PDSN

    Does anyone out here use or used to use a Nortel Starent 16K PDSN. If so do you know how to change the type from UNK to list as a nortel or anything other than UNK.
