  • Questionable values for SQL report - Packets per second

I'm using this simple query, hoping to find out the daily max usage of any given device in the network. I'm going by this PDF: http://www.cisco.com/web/partners/downloads/765/tools/quickreference/routerperformance.pdf as a reference for estimated packets per second and Mbps. The returned PPS...

  • DB Backups

I'm currently looking at our Cirrus and Orion backups and they keep on failing. When they were being backed up by Orion\Cirrus I would get transaction log full and they wouldn't backup so I deleted the Orion\Cirrus backups and created a job in SQL Manager, this is now failing with a different...

  • Re: Orion SQL database size

Hi I also run the nightly maintinance, but still my DB builds up to 75-100 GB within a few weeks. Of course truncating the data helps on that problem - But then obviously we loose the posebility to follow traffic streams. (for a few days) Wonder why Solarwinds is not updated (in one of the numorous servicepacks...
